Job summary

ABB is seeking a Warehouse Operations Leader to run on-site warehouse and internal logistics, ensuring safe, accurate material flow and strong team performance at Monterrey 3.0, Mexico. You will drive inventory accuracy, coach staff, and lead cost-reduction and process-improvement initiatives.

The role reports to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager and requires extensive experience with WMS/ERP (SAP/Oracle) and knowledge of IMMEX/C-TPAT standards, plus strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience leading warehouse teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Experience with inventory control, warehouse optimization, and logistics processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with IMMEX and C-TPAT requirements.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping activities.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through effective inventory management practices and timely system transactions.
• Develop, coach, and lead warehouse personnel to achieve safety, quality, service, and productivity objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with suppliers, carriers, production, and customer service teams.
• Manage warehouse capacity, labor planning, equipment utilization, and operating budgets.
• Monitor and achieve key warehouse performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Support uninterrupted production and customer deliveries through effective material flow management.
• Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
