Flex is seeking an experienced engineer to own and continuously improve test and burn-in processes across manufacturing lines in Mexico. You will review specifications, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with maintenance, engineering and labs to ensure reliable, safe operation of all test systems.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, ability to read complex drawings, and capability to train others while supporting new product introductions and equipment development.

Responsabilidades

• Develops, maintains and improves test and burn-in processes.
• Reviews process specs, updates them to reflect requirements.
• Ensures safety specs are met for test/burn-in processes.
• Reviews quality yields and implements corrective actions.
• Assists with equipment development and test programs.
• Maintains preventive maintenance and diagnostic schedules.
• Coordinates maintenance activities and ensures schedules are followed.
• Supports new product introduction and development in labs.
• Monitors off-load activities for test/burn-in processes.
• Ensures training/certification packages exist for processes.
• Partners with Industrial Engineering on equipment moves.
• Drives recovery actions for failed processes with teams.
• Assists in disaster recovery planning for test/burn-in processes.
• Follows engineering test processes.
• Performs high-level repair, formatting and unit configuration.
• Configures/flashes firmware on sub-assemblies and connects Ethernet.
• Understands Disk Arrays setup and testing.
• Troubleshoots at multiple system levels and logs defects.
• Performs module verification.
• Troubleshoots wiring from schematics and assembly.
• Provides first line support for workstation/line issues.
• Logs defects and addresses trending failures.
