Flex is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead test engineering activities at the Guadalajara North Campus, reporting to the Test Engineering Manager. You will drive continuous improvement, analyze test processes, and provide technical leadership to ensure reliable test systems in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Strong experience in troubleshooting and failure analysis of electronic products and test systems.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing, screening processes, AOI, AXI, and ICT systems.
• Experience with 8D, DMAIC, PDCA, or similar structured problem-solving methods.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with Python and Linux environments.
• Ability to develop technical presentations and support recommendations through statistical analysis.
• Experience providing technical leadership and coordinating teams of engineers and technicians.

Responsabilidades

• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to test failures and equipment performance.
• Develop and optimize test strategies, methodologies, and processes for electronic products.
• Monitor KPIs such as FPY, yield, downtime, capacity, and equipment efficiency.
• Apply statistical tools to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to test engineers and technicians.
• Support New Product Introduction with robust scalable test solutions.
• Prepare technical reports and executive presentations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize best practices.
• Maintain and support functional test systems, AOI, AXI, ICT, and other platforms.
• Analyze data to identify optimization opportunities and process improvements.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for test equipment.
