Flex is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead test engineering activities in Guadalajara, North Campus. You will drive continuous improvement, analyze test processes and equipment performance, and provide technical leadership to ensure reliable and scalable test systems in a manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges, support NPI activities, and communicate results through technical reports and executive presentations.

Formación

• Bachelors in Electronics/Mechatronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Experience troubleshooting and failure analysis of electronic products and test systems.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Hands-on experience with AOI, AXI, and ICT systems.
• Experience using 8D, DMAIC, PDCA, or similar problem-solving methods.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with Python and Linux environments.
• Ability to develop technical presentations and support recommendations via statistics.
• Experience providing technical leadership and coordinating teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for test failures, yield excursions, and equipment performance issues.
• Develop, implement, and optimize test strategies for electronic products.
• Monitor KPIs such as FPY, yield, downtime, capacity, and equipment efficiency.
• Apply statistical tools to identify trends, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data analysis.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to test engineers and technicians.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities with robust, scalable test solutions.
• Prepare technical reports and executive presentations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal customers to standardize practices.
• Maintain and support AOI, AXI, ICT, and other test platforms.
• Analyze data to identify optimization opportunities and process improvements.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for test equipment.
