Zusammenfassung

Sulzer seeks a Senior Tendering Engineer to act as a high-level technical lead and strategic partner to management. You will coordinate global tenders, balance technical precision with commercial strategy, and bridge regional and international stakeholders.

You will mentor junior staff, supervise Application Engineers, and prepare quotations for major projects to drive technical excellence and support regional sales objectives.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years as an Application Specialist in the pump industry.
• Desirable: 2 years in supervision or leadership.
• Advanced English required (reading, speaking, writing).
• Expertise in hydraulics, centrifugal pumps, and accessories.
• Advanced: Microsoft Office, pump selection software, and CRM (SalesForce or similar).
• Basic: SAP.

Aufgaben

• Prepare quotations for major projects with sales, regional managers, distributors, and alliance managers.
• Assist management with major project tender signoffs per DoA framework.
• Propose innovative solutions to clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Supervise Application Engineers I & II for alignment and growth.
• Bridge between Sales, operations, PM, and factories outside PU NAM region.
• Support regional sales plan objectives through technical proposal excellence.
• Analyze customer specs, define scope, evaluate buy-out components, and manage clarifications.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy for reliable forecasts and workload reporting.
