Sulzer is seeking a Senior Tendering Engineer to serve as a high-level technical lead and strategic partner to management. You will drive complex global tenders, balance technical detail with commercial strategy, and mentor junior staff while coordinating between regional and international stakeholders.

You will oversee junior engineers, prepare quotations, and ensure data integrity in CRM systems while supporting regional sales objectives and project signoffs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree (Licenciatura) in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Application Specialist specifically within the pump industry.
• 2 years of experience in group supervision or leadership activities.
• Advanced proficiency in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
• Expertise in hydraulics, centrifugal pumps, and their accessories.
• Advanced: Microsoft Office, pump selection and costing software, and CRM (SalesForce or similar).
• Basic: SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare quotations for major projects with sales personnel and regional managers.
• Assist management with tender signoffs per the DoA framework.
• Propose innovative solutions to clients based on technical expertise and seniority.
• Supervise Application Engineers I and II and mentor the team.
• Bridge Sales, operations, and factories outside PU NAM region.
• Support regional sales plans through technical proposal excellence.
• Analyze customer specs, define scope, evaluate buy-out components, and manage clarifications.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy for reliable forecasts and workload reporting.
