Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Specialist, Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale technology programs across payments and fintech. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and external partners to translate strategy into executable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

You will drive governance, risk management, and release readiness, balancing business needs with security and regulatory requirements, while communicating clearly to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Fintech and payments: hands-on program management in fintech/payments, incl. processing, flows, and banking integrations.
• APIs, infra, testing, release management; identify risks and resolve cross-team blockers.
• Leadership: manage complex tech programs from planning to production with cross-functional teams.
• Executive communication: influence without authority; secure commitments and report risks to executives.
• Advanced English required.
• Office presence 3x per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale technology programs from planning through production deployment.
• Translate business/tech strategies into measurable outcomes, delivery plans, milestones, and roadmaps.
• Act as the accountable leader for program health, risks, dependencies, decisions, and commitments.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and align across multiple organizations.
• Establish governance, delivery frameworks, reporting, and operating rhythms.
• Identify and mitigate risks impacting delivery, security, compliance, performance, or outcomes.
• Facilitate technical planning and executive decision-making; ensure alignment with long-term strategy.
• Drive release planning, production readiness, and operational preparedness for critical services.
• Support initiatives involving payment processing, financial platforms, banking integrations, APIs.
• Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Communicate program status, recommendations, risks, and priorities to senior leadership.
