Job summary

Mastercard Inc. in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Specialist, Technical Program Manager to drive large-scale technology programs across the payments ecosystem.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Finance, and external partners to deliver secure, scalable solutions and measurable business outcomes. You will transform strategic priorities into executable roadmaps, manage risks, dependencies, and governance, and ensure operational readiness for critical services.

Qualifications

• Fintech and electronic payments experience managing programs within fintech and electronic payments environments.
• Strong understanding of APIs, infrastructure, testing, and release management.
• Led complex technology programs from planning through production launch with cross-functional coordination.
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority and manage executive stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.
• Availability to be in the office 3 times per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale technology programs from planning through production deployment and operational adoption.
• Translate business and technology strategies into measurable outcomes, delivery plans, milestones, and roadmaps.
• Serve as the accountable leader for program health, risks, dependencies, decisions, and commitments.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and align multiple organizations and stakeholders.
• Establish governance and reporting rhythms to increase transparency and predictability.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks affecting delivery, security, and compliance.
• Facilitate technical planning and executive decision-making aligned with long-term strategy.
• Drive release planning, production readiness, and operational preparedness for critical services.
• Support initiatives involving payment processing, financial platforms, and banking integrations.
• Ensure security, audit readiness, and regulatory requirements throughout delivery lifecycle.
