Jobtailor in Mexico City seeks a senior engineering lead to own a high-impact customer-facing product used by major clients. You will coach and line-manage engineers, align team goals with the roadmap, and collaborate with Product to translate strategy into actionable tasks.

You will design and deliver Golang microservices and React/TypeScript frontend apps, improving performance, observability, and CI/CD pipelines while communicating with stakeholders across the business.

Formación

• Experience leading a team of engineers and coaching.
• Ability to write Golang services and web backends.
• Experience deploying applications in Docker containers.
• Ability to write performant SQL.
• Experience building componentised frontends in React/TypeScript.
• Understanding of clean code and Go idioms.
• Experience code reviews and setting quality standards.
• Ability to learn a new business domain and product.
• Effective communication of complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Take technical ownership of a high-impact, customer-facing product used by major companies and organisations.
• Own the quality of code and architecture delivered by the team.
• Influence, coach, and line manage team engineers.
• Align the team on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology to translate roadmap into tasks.
• Provide visibility on delivery progress outside the team.
• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance Golang microservices and frontend apps.
• Deliver performant interfaces driven by the design system.
• Improve service performance and observability.
• Drive automation and process improvements.
• Handle large amounts of cross-border payments data for informed decisions.
• Interact with stakeholders across the business and team.
