Jobtailor in Mexico City is seeking a senior engineering leader to Own end-to-end technical strategy, design, and delivery across complex initiatives. You will work hands-on with code and mentor offshore teams, ensuring scalable, secure solutions and alignment with platform standards.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering or architecture, strong communication, and a track record in modern software design, microservices, and GenAI integration within the SDLC.

Formación

• 10+ years in engineering or architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing and delivering modern software solutions.
• Hands-on role, comfortable writing and reviewing code (ideally JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, Microservices, MongoDB).
• Deep understanding of engineering execution — from planning and estimation to CI/CD, testing, and deployment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams through complex technical deliveries while staying close to the work.
• Strong architectural instincts backed by pragmatic, real-world experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to navigate technical and non-technical audiences with clarity.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions in real time conversations and refinements.
• Experience bringing back solutions to product teams based on knowledge of business, platform, and capabilities.
• Experience in scaled agile environments, with architectural ownership at Epic or Capability level.
• Proven application of GenAI in the SDLC.

• Lead end-to-end technical strategy, design, and implementation across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Shape scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions with platform-wide standards and long-term engineering direction.
• Serve as a technical leader who codes, mentors, and participates in reviews with offshore teams.
• Drive architectural clarity and consistency across teams.
• Act as a technical anchor for multiple offshore teams.
• Support coding, reviews, troubleshooting, and delivery—promoting strong execution and developer experience.
