Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to own our enterprise SaaS application portfolio while serving as a secondary administrator for Microsoft 365. The role targets a systems generalist with expertise in SaaS administration, IAM, and automation.

You will manage the full lifecycle of business-critical SaaS apps, ensure secure integrations, and maintain excellent operational availability across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Systems Engineering across cloud, networking, identity, SaaS, and automation.
• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Intune.
• Experience implementing and supporting SSO, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and SCIM integrations.
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, and hybrid environments.
• Experience supporting security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the lifecycle of enterprise SaaS apps from onboarding to retirement.
• Serve as the primary IT contact for new business app requests.
• Manage platforms like Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence, FreshService, DocuSign, Dropbox.
• Maintain SaaS inventory, licensing, renewals, ownership, and integration status.
• Drive tool consolidation and reduce tool sprawl.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and govern new technology adoption.
• Act as Tier 3 escalation for complex incidents.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote operational excellence.
