Job summary

OpalSoft, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Systems Administrator to manage IT infrastructure, cloud services, endpoints, and security systems. The role emphasizes day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, automation, and continuous improvement.

You will administer Intune, Entra ID/Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and Azure services; support networks, security, and enterprise storage; develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks. A collaborative team environment with on-call rotations is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in systems, cloud, network, or endpoint administration.
• Azure, CompTIA Network+, or Security+ preferred.
• Experience with Intune, Group Policy, or RMM platforms.
• Strong experience supporting Azure AD/Entra ID-joined environments; hybrid-to-cloud migration preferred.
• Microsoft 365 administration knowledge (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Solid wireless networking and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with enterprise cybersecurity tools and SSL certificates.
• Experience administering enterprise cloud storage platforms (Dropbox/Box/Google Drive/Egnyte).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Intune across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
• Manage Entra ID and Active Directory including CA and lifecycle.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Administer Azure services: VMs, Web Apps, SQL, Recovery Vaults, VNets.
• Support network, wireless, cloud, server, storage, and printers.
• Troubleshoot SSO/SAML and access issues.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
• Monitor security tools, respond to alerts, assist with patching.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors on deployments and upgrades.
• Research technologies to improve IT efficiency and security.
• Participate in proactive maintenance and on-call rotations.
