Zusammenfassung

Redwood Logistics is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team remotely, with reporting to Senior Manager. Location options include Monterrey or Queretaro, Mexico, and the role requires upholding GAAP and strong internal controls.

You will support monthly closes, tax compliance, and audits, while collaborating with FP&A and accounting teams to drive accurate financial reporting. Bilingual English/Spanish is essential for cross-border communication.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting.
• CPA preferred.
• 4–5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant and/or Auditor.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards and controls.
• Experience with Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, MS Excel & MS Access.
• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish; proficient in verbal and written communication.

Aufgaben

• Perform monthly close tasks: revenue/expense accruals, vendor accruals, amortization, depreciation, and intercompany eliminations.
• Conduct general accounts, vendor, and business analysis substantiation.
• Support FP&A initiatives and reporting against budgets/forecasts.
• Assist FP&A with budgets and forecasts.
• Participate in annual audits and tax preparation with substantiation.
• Maintain calendars for state and city tax filings and compliance.
