Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience deploying production changes in the past 30 days.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and RESTful APIs.
• Expertise with SQL-based RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).
• Understanding of distributed systems design patterns (outbox, event-driven, queues).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Architect, upgrade, design, and build scalable infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes, AWS, RDS, and distributed patterns.
• Drive infrastructure roadmap for reliability and scalability.
• Lead capacity planning, benchmarking, stress testing, bottlenecks.
• Define SLAs and alerts across infrastructure.
• Lead signal anomaly detection and alerting.
• Lead AI enablement efforts to apply AI to reliability and productivity.
• Build consistency in distributed microservices architecture.
• Establish engineering best practices for observability, security, and CI/CD.
• Mentor engineers and foster learning and operational excellence.
• Collaborate to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
