Databricks in Mexico City is seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer to partner with Sales and customers, shaping account strategies and showing how the Databricks Lakehouse platform solves real workloads.

You will design reference architectures, demo applications, and guide data engineers through big data pipelines, ML projects, and cloud integrations, travelling up to 50% as needed. Fluent SQL and strong coding in Python/Scala/Java/R are expected, along with the ability to translate business needs

Formación

• 4+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture or consulting role.
• Ability to translate business needs to technology solutions and gain stakeholder buy-in.
• Experience designing and presenting data systems and production data pipelines.
• Fluent in SQL and database technology.
• Coding experience in Python, Scala, Java, or R; cloud experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Sales and partners to develop account strategies to grow Databricks usage.
• Establish the Lakehouse architecture as the standard data architecture for customers.
• Build and present reference architectures and demo apps for prospects.
• Consult on big data architectures, pipelines, and ML projects; validate cloud integrations.
• Promote Databricks open‑source projects across developer communities via meetups and webinars.
