Apex Systems Mexico is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data pipelines on Databricks. You will work on ETL/ELT processes, Delta Lake, and Delta Live Tables, ensuring data quality and governance across cloud environments.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering with 3+ years in Databricks, strong Spark expertise, and fluency in PySpark, SQL, and possibly Scala. Remote work is available with a Guadalajara-based delivery center.

Formación

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Databricks experience.
• Strong expertise with Apache Spark and Databricks.
• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and/or Scala.
• Experience with Delta Lake and Delta Live Tables.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Databricks notebooks, clusters, workflows, and jobs.
• Ingest, transform, validate, and publish high-quality data products following modern data architecture standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and own deliverables, timelines, and engagement success.
