Job summary

Fulcrum Digital Inc is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the BizOps team supporting a payments technology client. You will help drive DevOps transformation, automate workflows, and ensure reliable, scalable services across a global tech stack.

You will work with Unix, scripting, SQL, Python and CI/CD tools to design, monitor, and optimize production systems, collaborating with development, operations, and product teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership and drive.
• Ability to debug and optimize code and automate tasks.
• Experience supporting production AI, ML, data platforms, or large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and Chef.

Responsibilities

• Engage in and improve the full lifecycle of services—from inception to deployment and operation.
• Analyze ITSM activity and feedback resiliency gaps to development teams.
• Support services before go-live through capacity planning and launch reviews.
• Maintain live services by monitoring availability and system health.
• Scale systems via automation to improve reliability and velocity.
• Support the application CI/CD pipeline and lead DevOps automation practices.
• Practice blameless post-mortems and sustainable incident response.
• Collaborate across time zones and mentor junior team members.
