Eaton is seeking a Senior Setups Engineer in Reynosa to lead new product introduction via set ups for electromechanical and electronics lines. You will validate new specs, develop validation plans, and guide ECO processes with Enovia and SAP while ensuring compliance with hazardous material initiatives.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing, and strong English communication.
Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for the new products introduction via set ups, for electromechanical and electronics product lines, analyze new product requirements vs actual products specifications, if new set ups has new or revised product specifications, develop a validation plan (DVP&R) to guarantee product integrity, validate all new customer, marketing and sales new product changes ideas. Responsible to lead the weekly meetings for the engineering changes orders (ECO) process.
Subject matter expert for the changes managements control system (Enovia and SAP)
Ensures new business opportunities (NBOs) are successfully engineered and documented such that they move quickly to the manufacturing floor via setups. Strong focus on new Buy‑Sell opportunities follow up / successful launch, and on product compliance to Hazardous Material reduction initiatives (i.e., RoHS, WEEE, etc). Follows the production cycle and works with marketing, development, tooling and manufacturing to ensure that the product meets the needs of customer and meets the product specifications.
Provide support on technical inquiries coming from production line and external/internal suppliers in order to help achieve production plan and OTD targets. As well as perform root cause analysis of product line issues/inquiries during release stages of the new set‑ups.
