Emerson in Mexico seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive robotic automation, Lean practices, and process optimization across facilities in Nuevo León.

The role focuses on defining requirements, implementing systems, and maintaining ISO compliance while improving throughput, OEE, and cost efficiency for multiple product lines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform capacity studies, and lead Kaizen projects with a strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Formación

• 5 years in a similar position.
• Lean Manufacturing, GD&T, and design software proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience; cobot system integration.
• Industrial Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and execute robotic automation projects to improve throughput and OEE.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and manage implementation of robotic systems.
• Monitor automated systems through data analysis and preventive actions for performance.
• Maintain ISO compliance within manufacturing processes.
• Define optimal work processes using Operations Methods (OMs) and ITIM as operator references.
• Prepare product cost analyses for existing and future products.
• Define theoretical capacity, validate with actual capacity, and document in reports.
• Conduct capacity studies for new models and validate cycle times for hourly production.
• Identify cost reduction initiatives across operations.
• Develop and update plant layouts to optimize facilities and end-to-end flow.
• Participate in resolution of quality, efficiency, and safety issues.
• Drive Lean best practices and Kaizen projects with corrective actions.
• Develop and present savings and cost-avoidance for management.
• Lead setup time reduction via SMED.
• Design solid models (STL) for fixtures and gauges using CAD and 3D printing.
• Lead capacity improvement and material flow optimization via line balancing.
