Qualifications

Job description

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for managing and executing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, identify, assess, and hire qualified candidates who meet the organization's operational and business needs.

• Manage full-cycle recruitment process for direct and indirect labor positions, from requisition approval through candidate selection and hiring, utilizing Avature or company tracking system available.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with workforce planning, operational requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications, competencies, experience, and cultural alignment.
• Coordinate recruitment activities for high-volume manufacturing positions, ensuring timely coverage of workforce requirements.
• Participate in orientation process.
• Responsible for registering new hires in Tress System.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, candidate profiles, and recruitment priorities.
• Support hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process, ensuring consistent evaluation practices.
• Provide recommendations based on candidate qualifications, market conditions, and recruitment results.
• Coordinate interviews, assessments, and other pre-employment requirements, as applicable.
• Ensure candidates receive accurate information regarding job responsibilities, work schedules, compensation, and employment conditions.
• Coordinate employment offers in accordance with approved compensation structures and internal authorization procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information.
• Track, analyze, and report key recruitment performance indicators, including:

Time to Fill, Time to Hire, Open Requisitions, Offer Acceptance Rate and New Hire Turnover.

• Ensure recruitment activities comply with applicable Mexican labor laws, internal policies, and equal employment opportunity principles.

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Proficient Tress System knowledge.
• Proven experience recruiting direct and indirect labor positions within maquiladora environment.
• Familiarity with the Tijuana labor market and local recruitment practices.
• Experience with Avature or related applicant tracking software.
• Knowledge of Mexican labor legislation relevant to recruitment and hiring.
• Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced English.
