Job summary

Atomic HR is seeking a skilled mobile developer to own an offline-first React Native app from setup to public release on iOS and Android. You will work with a lead and backend developer to define sync APIs, implement SMS-based sign-in, and ensure app stability across devices.

This is a remote LATAM contractor role with core hours overlapping US time zones. You will review diffs, write tests, and communicate tradeoffs directly to the client.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of mobile app development experience.
• Experience shipping React Native apps to App Store and Google Play.
• Offline-first architecture with local storage, queued writes and retry logic.
• Strong written and spoken English for client communications.
• Ability to work directly with clients and explain tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Set up developer accounts and CI pipelines for iOS and Android.
• Build offline storage, write queue and retry logic.
• Agree sync and upload APIs with backend and resolve conflicts.
• Implement phone-number sign-in with SMS codes and push notifications fallback.
• Build camera capture and e-signature flows with versioned records.
• Measure startup time and performance on low-end devices.
• Handle store submissions, disclosures and monitoring.
