Job summary

Atomic HR is seeking an experienced mobile developer to own an offline-first React Native app launched on both App Store and Google Play. You will start from project setup, managing accounts, CI, and release plans while collaborating with a backend colleague on sync and APIs.

You’ll write risk notes and client-facing tradeoffs, with success measured by sprint acceptance, reliable submissions on devices, and a live app in stores.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building mobile applications, including React Native applications released on both the App Store and Google Play.
• Offline-first work with local storage, queued writes, retries and conflict handling.
• Performance tuning on low-end Android devices and memory optimization.
• Daily use of AI coding tools on production mobile work with TypeScript, automated tests and CI around it.
• Clear written and spoken English for PR descriptions, risk notes and tradeoff explanations to a client team.
• Experience working from written acceptance criteria and ability to push back when criteria are missed.

Responsibilities

• Set up Apple and Google developer accounts, signing, CI builds and testing tracks.
• Build local storage, write queue and retry logic to keep the app working offline.
• Define sync and upload APIs with backend developers and resolve conflicts.
• Implement phone-number sign-in with SMS codes and push notifications that fallback to SMS.
• Develop camera capture and e-signature flows storing versioned records.
• Measure startup time and memory usage on low-end devices and optimize.
• Handle store submissions, privacy disclosures and monitoring for crashes and sync issues.
