Job summary

Atomic HR is seeking an experienced mobile developer for a fully remote LATAM contractor role. You will own an offline-first iOS/Android app from setup to public release, working with a lead developer and backend counterpart to implement sync, storage, and release strategies.

You will leverage React Native, TypeScript and AI coding tools in a two-week sprint cadence, review diffs, write tests, and ensure the app meets acceptance criteria before deployment on both stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years building mobile apps with React Native released on iOS and Android.
• Experience delivering offline-first apps with local storage, queued writes and retries.
• Ability to profile and optimize startup time and memory on low-end devices.

Responsibilities

• Set up Apple/Google developer accounts, signing, CI builds and testing tracks.
• Build offline storage, write queue and retry logic for offline operation.
• Define sync APIs with backend and resolve conflicts in data edits.
• Implement phone-number sign-in with SMS and push notifications fallback to SMS.
• Create camera capture and e-signature flows with versioned records.
• Monitor app performance and storage usage on low-end devices.
• Handle store submissions, privacy disclosures and monitoring of crashes/sync.
