Job summary

Atomic HR is seeking a mobile developer to own an offline-first iOS and Android app from project setup to public release on the App Store and Google Play. You will work on a two-week sprint with a lead developer and a backend counterpart, reviewing diffs and ensuring quality with tests and CI.

You will build local storage, a write queue, and robust sync logic, plus phone-number sign-in, push notifications, camera capture, and versioned records.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building mobile applications, including React Native.
• Offline-first storage with local writes, retries and conflict handling.
• Experience shipping to both App Store and Google Play with CI/tests.
• Clear written and spoken English for client communications.
• Experience working from written acceptance criteria and pushing back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up Apple and Google developer accounts, signing, CI builds and testing tracks.
• Build local storage, write queue and retry logic for offline use.
• Agree sync and upload APIs with backend, resolve conflicts.
• Implement phone-number sign-in with SMS codes and SMS fallbacks.
• Build camera capture and e-signature flows storing versioned records.
• Measure startup time, memory and app size on low-end Android devices.
• Handle store submissions, privacy disclosures, and crash/sync monitoring.
