Vertiv is seeking a senior Quality Engineer to lead development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems in a manufacturing environment. You will ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, maintain PFMEAs, control plans, and SPC plans, and conduct audits across processes, products, and suppliers.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5–8+ years quality engineering in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies.
• Experience with customer and supplier quality management.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data-driven decisions.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and maintenance of quality systems and procedures.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance.
• Create PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, SPC, and work instructions.
• Conduct internal, process, product, and supplier audits.
• Lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, and DMAIC.
• Drive CAPA closure and verify effectiveness.
• Act as primary quality contact for customers and lead complaints investigations.
• Lead APQP, PPAP, validation and process qualification for new launches.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and operations to improve processes.
• Lead supplier qualification and monitor supplier quality.
• Mentor Quality Engineers and Technicians; report KPIs.
• Promote culture of quality and continuous improvement.
