Vertiv in Monterrey is seeking a Quality Engineer to monitor and improve manufacturing quality across processes and products. You will work with engineering and production teams to embed quality from design through delivery.

The role requires 4–8 years in quality engineering and knowledge of ISO 9001 and ASQ standards; you will supervise technicians, conduct audits, analyze root causes, and lead improvement initiatives to meet customer expectations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in a quality engineering role, ideally within HVAC, thermal systems, or assembly component industries.
• Experience in supervising quality technicians and leading quality improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASQ certifications, and other relevant industry standards.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and tests of components
• Analyze and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control and testing.
• Review product designs, specifications, and production methods to ensure quality standards are integrated from the beginning. Work with engineering and production teams to optimize production methods and quality standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis of quality problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with clients and external partners to ensure product quality and resolve quality concerns promptly.
• Supervise and mentor quality technicians, providing guidance on testing, inspections, and reporting.
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate production staff and quality technicians on quality standards and best practices.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and improvement initiatives.
