Vertiv in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to drive quality throughout manufacturing, inspections, and testing of components and assemblies. You will develop SOPs, conduct audits, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to embed quality from design through production.

The role requires 4–8 years in quality engineering, experience supervising quality technicians, and knowledge of ISO 9001 and ASQ standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.
• 4–8 years in quality engineering, preferably HVAC/thermal systems.
• Experience supervising quality technicians and leading improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASQ certifications, and industry standards.
• Experience with statistical analysis and root cause analysis methods.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and tests of components.
• Analyze and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for quality control and testing.
• Review product designs, specifications, and production methods to ensure quality standards are integrated from the beginning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize methods.
• Collaborate with clients and external partners to ensure product quality and resolve concerns.
• Supervise and mentor quality technicians, providing guidance on testing, inspections, and reporting.
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate production staff and quality technicians on quality standards.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits for traceability.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management outlining KPIs, trends, and improvement initiatives.
