Vertiv Group Corporation in Monterrey is seeking a Quality Engineer to monitor manufacturing processes, perform inspections, and drive CAPA initiatives to maintain ISO 9001 and other standards. You will work with engineering and production teams to ensure quality from design to production.

The role includes developing SOPs, training staff, reviewing designs, and reporting KPIs to management while mentoring quality technicians and ensuring traceability of tests and audits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in a quality engineering role, ideally in HVAC, thermal systems or assembly components.
• Experience supervising quality technicians and leading quality improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ASQ certifications and other relevant standards.
• Experience with statistical analysis, process control techniques, and root cause analysis methods.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and tests of components.
• Analyze and resolve quality issues with corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for quality control and testing.
• Review designs and production methods to embed quality from the start.
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with clients and partners to resolve quality concerns promptly.
• Supervise and mentor quality technicians and provide guidance on testing and reporting.
• Develop and deliver training on quality standards and best practices.
• Maintain records of inspections and audits for traceability.
• Prepare and present quality reports with KPIs and improvement initiatives.
