Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a remote role based in Mexico, joining an international team on a next-generation mobile app for a football club. You will design robust backend services with Python, implement AI-powered features, and build scalable APIs while aligning with security, CI/CD, and Azure deployment practices in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Python development and building scalable backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of FastAPI or Flask and RESTful API design.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services via APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and JSON data exchange.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on Docker, cloud deployment, and CI/CD pipelines; Azure exposure.
• Knowledge of application security, OAuth2/JWT, and data protection.
• Excellent communication for remote, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for mobile features and engagement.
• Integrate AI-powered features using providers like OpenAI or Hugging Face.
• Develop asynchronous data flows and reliable inter-service communication.
