AgileEngine in Mexico is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, using AI coding tools daily. The role focuses on delivering robust Python services with fastAPI/Django/Flask, integrating Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and MongoDB, and designing RESTful APIs for scalable features.

• Python backend development with 4+ years of hands-on experience.
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily development workflows.
• Proficiency with Git, including branch management, PRs, and CI/CD integration.
• User-level Linux/Unix command-line and scripting basics.
• Experience integrating diverse databases (Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.

Responsabilidades

• Continue the development and extension of the internal developer portal and dashboard.
• Design, build, and maintain a robust Python backend to support core features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.

• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines (Git) for automated testing and deployment.
