AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal, using AI coding tools in daily work.

You will design robust Python services with FastAPI, Django, or Flask, and integrate with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Monterrey, Mexico with flexible remote/office options.

Formación

• 4+ years of backend development with Python
• Experience using AI coding assistants in daily workflows
• Proficient in Git, branches, PRs, and CI/CD pipelines
• User-level Linux/Unix knowledge and shell scripting basics
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and MongoDB
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration

Responsabilidades

• Continue the development and extension of the internal developer portal backend.
• Design, build, and maintain robust Python services for core features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.
• Integrate the application with Snowflake, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Work with Linux/Unix environments to run builds and inspect logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit tests and peer reviews.
