Palo IT Mexico is hiring a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and evolve robust backend services using Python and FastAPI. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software, drive technical excellence, and shape long-term architectural decisions.

The role emphasizes API design, microservices, security, and AI-native development practices, with a hybrid work model in Mexico and opportunities for internal R&D.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
• Experience in scalable backend systems in production environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python FastAPI.
• Lead backend architecture design and key technical decisions.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and other stakeholders to integrate server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and security while ensuring observability.
• Review code and mentor junior developers to maintain quality.
