Job summary

Jabil (NYSE: JBL) is seeking a Purchasing/SCM leader to optimize overall materials cost, develop supply base and SCM strategies, and negotiate terms for strategic materials. Supervisory responsibility for Purchasing staff within the workcell.

You will analyze component purchase prices, drive MPV improvements, qualify suppliers, and ensure training and resources for the team, while aligning with customer requirements and AML lists.

• Experience analyzing component purchase prices and standard costing.
• Ability to recruit and hire staff.
• Ability to train purchasing staff.
• Understand supplier management and AML processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and project component purchase prices reflecting inventory value.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and supplier agreements.
• Develop supply base and SCM strategies.
• Monitor supplier performance on cost, delivery, quality.
• Support training for workcell Purchasing staff.
• Quote materials and select suppliers based on total cost.
