Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions in Mexico seeks a production leader to supervise metalworking assembly lines, optimize throughput, and ensure safety and quality while meeting budgets.
The role requires 3-5 years in production leadership in metalworking, strong Lean and Six Sigma experience, and familiarity with ERP systems such as EPICOR, SAP or Oracle. English proficiency is needed for global reporting.
Lead, coordinate and optimize the operation of metalworking manufacturing assembly lines, ensuring compliance with production plans, quality standards, operational safety and budgeted costs. It is the direct link between management strategy and daily execution on the production floor, promoting a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the assembly lines of components and metallic structures to guarantee on-time delivery.
?Evaluate and optimize the performance of the lines by balancing processes, controlling cycle times and monitoring key metrics (KPIs: Safety, Quality (FPY), Production (Delivery, Scrap, FPY, Downtime), inventory control in WIP
Coordinate with Logistics, Materials and Maintenance the timely availability of supplies, subassemblies and online tooling to ensure the daily shipment of material to the client.
Guarantee compliance with industrial safety standards, ergonomics and the Safety policy.
Ensure the integrity of quality criteria in critical products, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, first part releases and process audits.
Manage the personnel skills matrix, training plans and the administration of shifts and rotations.
Promote Lean Manufacturing methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, VDM / Visual Management, TPM) to eliminate waste and increase productivity.
Lead structured problem resolution events (A3, 8D, 5 Whys) in the event of quality failures, flow delays or line stoppages.
3-5 years of experience in production leadership roles (Sr. Supervisor, Superintendent, or Jr. Manager).
Essential experience in the metalworking industry, high-volume assembly processes focused on a make-to-stock production structure
Solid command of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt desirable) and problem-solving tools.
Knowledge of line balancing, assembly ergonomics and floor inventory control (WIP / ERPs such as EPICOR, SAP or Oracle).
Management of manufacturing indicators (Efficiency, TAKT Time, Cycle Time Scrap).
Languages: Intermediate-advanced English (for global reports or communication with top management and monthly results).
Soft Skills: Situational leadership, assertive communication, negotiation, decision making under pressure and focus on results.
