Jonathan MFG de México, S. de R.L. de C.V. in Mexicali is seeking a strategic yet hands-on Production Superintendent to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced metal manufacturing environment.

You will drive Lean initiatives, lead cross-functional teams, ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets, and mentor production staff to sustain continuous improvement across processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Production Manager
• Strong background in metal-mechanic manufacturing environments
• Experience with CNC machining centers, lathes, and drilling processes
• English proficiency: 80–90% (advanced level preferred)

Position Objective

Oversee and optimize production operations, ensuring safety, quality,delivery, and cost targets are consistently achieved while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily production operations
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes
• Optimize resource utilization and production efficiency
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives
• Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing practices
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions when needed
• Develop and mentor production teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (preferred) or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Production Manager
• Strong background in metal-mechanic manufacturing environments
• Experience with CNC machining centers, lathes, and drilling processes
• English proficiency: 80–90% (advanced level preferred)

Skills & Knowledge

• Proven leadership and team management capabilities
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (certification preferred)
• Six Sigma Black Belt is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of machining processes and production systems
• Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
