Corning Inc. in Mexico is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production teams, focusing on safety, quality, delivery and cost while driving daily performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role develops people, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and leads or participates in process improvement projects. It ensures compliance with company policies and participates in audits as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in MMC Production lines.
• 2 to 4 years of experience leading and/or supervising personnel.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, TPM, and Value Stream Mapping is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise production personnel, drive team performance, and manage the overall administration of assigned staff.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet schedule, output, and business unit goals.
• Monitor production flow, resolve operational issues, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensure the training and certification of assigned personnel, and guarantee compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in core team and quality meetings to support plant objectives and metrics.
• Lead or participate in projects related to process improvement, productivity, and new product/process introductions.
• Participation in audits.

What is your role?
