Job summary

AgileEngine in Mexico is seeking a Data & Analytics Developer to design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that turn enterprise data into actionable business insights. You will translate business requirements into data models and visuals, collaborating with IT and data owners to ensure data availability.

You will work with Snowflake, SAP HANA, and SAP data sources, implement ETL/ELT processes, and promote reusable data models and KPI definitions.

Qualifications

4+ years of Power BI development experience.
Strong knowledge of Power BI data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and analytical data.
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based enterprise data platforms.
Experience with SAP HANA, SAP data, or SAP-based source systems.
Experience with data modeling, transformation, and integration concepts.
Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills.
Ability to translate business processes into data requirements and work with stakeholders.
Understanding of data quality, governance, KPIs, and data consistency.
Experience onboarding data from enterprise source systems.
Strong troubleshooting across data solution layers and clear data communication.
Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to understand KPIs, data definitions, and analytical needs.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for actionable insights.
Translate requirements into data models, metrics, visualizations, and reporting solutions.
Coordinate data availability with IT and source-system owners.
Onboard and integrate data into the enterprise platform (Snowflake, SAP HANA).
Troubleshoot data and reporting issues across source → platform → semantic/model → Power BI.
Collaborate with data owners and tech teams to improve data quality and reliability.
Promote reusable data models and standard KPI definitions.
Provide guidance on effective data visualization for decision-making.
Document data definitions, reporting logic, KPIs, and solutions.
Work in an Agile delivery environment with distributed teams.
