Neumo is hiring backend engineers for our Platform team in Mexico. You will design and operate shared back-end services used across Neumo's products, focusing on reliability, security, and multi-tenant architecture from day one.

Expect to architect new services, refactor for scale, and instrument them for production. You will own services in production, monitor and respond to incidents, and ensure high test coverage across unit, integration, and regression tests.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of back-end engineering experience in Node.js.
• Strong experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid PostgreSQL experience.
• Hands-on AWS serverless and cloud infra experience.
• Experience with automated testing and code quality.
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• AWS serverless tools and IaC (SAM/CFN).
• Experience with event-driven architectures and payments systems.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, build, and operate shared back-end services in Node.js used across Neumo's product portfolio.
• Design for multi-tenancy with tenant isolation and per-tenant configuration.
• Build event-driven, serverless systems on AWS (Lambda, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, S3, RDS, Redshift).
• Own production services: monitoring, tracing, alerting, and incident response.
• Write and maintain automated tests across unit, integration, and regression layers.
• Incorporate security as part of the definition of done, including PCI considerations for payments.
• Use AI coding tools as part of daily workflow and review AI-generated code rigorously.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews; share learnings with the team.
