The Chemours Company in Altamira is seeking a Sr. Payroll Analyst to join our People team.

You will administer end-to-end payroll for biweekly and monthly cycles, ensure compliance for exempt and non-exempt populations, and coordinate time-based bonuses and severance. You will partner with Finance, Compensation, and Benefits, help establish procedures, participate in audits including SOX, and support system upgrades and year-end activities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a Bachelors.
• 3+ years of end-to-end payroll processing in a large multi-state environment.
• Strong Excel skills with pivots and lookups.
• Thorough knowledge of payroll-related state, legal, tax and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Experience in a decentralized payroll environment and SOX considerations.

Responsabilidades

• Administer end-to-end payroll processes for biweekly and monthly cycles.
• Ensure compliance for exempt and non-exempt employee populations, including garnishments and bonuses.
• Resolve payroll data issues and drive system improvements.
• Oversee payroll records maintenance and respond to information requests.
• Support audits, including SOX controls, and year-end activities.
• Enter stock options and participate in system upgrade testing.
