Konfío seeks a Sr. Product Owner for Core Payments to drive end-to-end payments roadmap, covering Money In and Money Out, with a target of 1M+ monthly transactions.

You will own the Payments API, gateway, routing, and reconciliation, ensuring PCI-DSS compliance and high availability across card present and card not present flows. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in payments product management within fintechs or banks in Mexico, with strong collaboration across Tech, Risk, Operations, and

• 4+ years in payments product management or payment processing in Mexico or Latin America.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; fintech specialization is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Core Payments product lifecycle from ideation to launch with clear KPIs.
• Own the Payments API, Gateway, Switch, and network connections for Card Present/Not Present flows.
• Design smart routing rules by method, BIN, and issuer to sustain high approval rates.
• Define reconciliation rules for clearing, settlement, payouts, refunds, and holds.
• Coordinate PCI-DSS, EMV L3 certification and compliance with networks.
• Partner with Tech for monitoring, incident analysis, and observability to minimize impact.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and optimize merchant payment flows.
