Konfio MX in Mexico City is seeking a Sr. Product Owner for Core Payments to lead the strategy and execution of our end-to-end payment processing roadmap, covering Money In and Money Out including authorization, settlement, refunds, and chargebacks.

You will drive key metrics such as TPV growth, approval rates, reconciliation accuracy, and regulatory compliance with Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and BANXICO, positioning Konfio's payment solution as a competitive leader in the Mexican acquiring

Qualifications

• 4+ years in payments product management within fintechs, acquirers, payment processors, or financial institutions in Mexico.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Systems, Software, Industrial), Business Administration, Finance, or related fields; PM/Digital Payments specialization desirable.
• Knowledge of end-to-end payment processing in Mexico (cards, QR, e-commerce) and networks (Visa/Mastercard/AMEX).
• Fraud prevention tools and risk scoring experience.
• Experience with leading fintechs (e.g., Clip, dLocal, MercadoPago, Adyen).
• 英文 proficiency and strong analytical, strategic, cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Roadmap Management: Lead the Core Payments product lifecycle from ideation to launch, generating documentation (PRDs, user stories with technical acceptance criteria) and defining KPIs.
• End-to-End Payment Processing: Own the functional design and evolution of the Payments API, Gateway, Switch, processor and network connections.
• Strategy, Segmentation & Routing: Define smart routing rules by payment method, BIN and issuer to maintain an approval rate above 90%.
• MoneyIn/MoneyOut Reconciliation: Define business rules and processes for clearing, settlement, payouts, refunds and holds.
• Certification & Compliance: Coordinate certification cycles with engineers and processors to guarantee PCI-DSS and network standards.
• Operational Resilience & Troubleshooting: Partner with Tech on incident analysis, monitoring and failover using SQL and New Relic.
• Testing & User Experience: Collaborate with Business and Tech for UAT and continuous optimization.
