Job summary

Trane Technologies in Monterrey seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer specializing in powder and liquid painting processes. You will develop robust processes, mentor operations teams, and drive improvements across paints lines at the Apodaca facility.

The role requires a BSc and 10+ years in painting manufacturing, with strong project leadership and excellent English communication. On-site work for a 5-day week is offered with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

BSc in Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronic or equivalent.
10+ years in powder painting and liquid painting processes (Manufacturing/Quality).
Strong project management and team leadership capabilities.
Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop painting processes (powder and liquid) with process control and capability targets.
Define process parameters, specs, approval protocols for NPDs and capital equipment.
Apply advanced problem solving (Six Sigma, DOE, A3, 5-Why) to identify root causes.
Improve painting operations through analysis of finishing requirements and specs.
Design/select equipment and processes; define inspection protocols and develop monitoring and support requirements.
Improve painting operations for Scroll and Screw processes; implement process improvements.
Handle project administration: purchase orders and follow-up (CAPEX, equipment, fixtures, tools).
Measure and improve indicators in SQDIP (Scrap, FPY, DPU, Downtime).
Develop/update Control Plans, PFMEAs, JSAs and ergonomic studies; support EHS metrics.
Collaborate in Opex initiatives (VSAs, RIEs, Gembas).
Apply SMED to color changes.
