Trane Technologies in Monterrey, MX, is seeking an Automation Process Quality Engineer to develop robust manufacturing processes for automation support in our Monterrey facility. You will mentor the Automation team while ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets are met for NPD programs and ongoing operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronic degree with 3+ years in automation, strong PLC skills, and experience with Lean, DMAIC, GD&T, and IEC/industrial

Formación

• BSc in Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronic; MSc preferred.
• 3+ years in Automation within manufacturing.
• Project and team management experience.
• Advanced PLC programming and tool selection.
• Experience with Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Modbus and Profibus.
• Lean manufacturing, DMAIC, GD&T, Minitab, TPM, AutoCAD.
• English proficiency around 80%.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain and improve Automation processes.
• Define machine specs, approval protocols, runoff for Capital equipment.
• Apply problem-solving methods (6-Sigma, DOE, A3, 5-Why).
• Follow up on project KPIs (SCRAP, FPY, DPU, downtime).
• Collaborate in Opex initiatives (VSAs, RIEs, Gembas).
• Develop and update Control Plans, PFMEAs, JSAs.
