Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an NDT & Special Process Compliance Lead to oversee Nadcap compliance for all special processes and serve as NDT Responsible Level 3. You will drive audits, approvals, and continuous improvement across NDT methods.

The role requires NAS-410/Nadcap expertise, 5+ years in NDT, and leadership in training and qualification of NDT personnel. Relocation and extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Certified to NAS-410 and Nadcap Special Processes requirements.
• Over 5 years in non-destructive testing and special processes.
• Proficient in NAS-410, Nadcap Special Processes, and GT193.
• Documented training hours per NAS-410 (UT/ET 80h, PT 32h).

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, execution, and response to Nadcap and GE Aerospace audits.
• Administer eAuditNet and GE portals for documentation and RCCA plans.
• Review Process Control Plans and procedures to ensure AC71xx and GT193 compliance.
• Conduct mandatory annual self-audits and site compliance audits.
• Oversee NDT testing, approve NDT procedures and training programs.
• Act as NDT Responsible Level 3 for planning and approvals.
• Coordinate with Quality, Process Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain.
• Lead corrective actions for NDT non-conformances.
• Provide expert guidance to NDT engineers and technicians.
