Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an NDT & Special Process Compliance Lead to oversee Nadcap and GT193 compliance across all special processes and act as NDT Responsible Level 3. You will manage audits, documentation, training, and process improvements while coordinating with Quality, Process Engineering and Production teams.

The role requires extensive Nadcap/NDT experience, NAS410 knowledge, and leadership to drive continuous improvement in aerospace testing and inspection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Certified to NDT Level 3 in Eddy Current, Ultrasonic and FPI testing per NAS-410.
• 5+ years in non-destructive testing and special processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Nadcap and GE Aerospace special process audits planning, execution and responses.
• Administer eAuditNet and GE portals for documents and RCCA plans.
• Review and approve PCPs and procedures to ensure AC71xx and GT193 compliance.
• Conduct compliance audits and mandatory annual self-audits for each special process.
• Oversee periodic testing (chemical baths, temperature profiles, adhesion tests, etc.).
• Recommend improvements and actions with SP engineer for special processes.
• Own NDT planning and approvals for current and future processes.
• Lead NDT processes and ensure NAS410, AS9100, Nadcap and GE requirements compliance.
• Act as main NDT contact with Quality, Process Eng, Production, Supply Chain.
• Lead corrective actions for NDT nonconformances.
• Support and advise NDT Engineers and Technicians.
• Maintain NDT training program and approve examiners/instructors.
• Provide NDT training, examination and certification of personnel.
