Victaulic de Mexico S DE R.L. DE C.V. seeks a Metallurgist Engineer in Chihuahua for a full-time Quality role.

You will supervise metallurgical processes, conduct analyses, and drive improvements across casting and metal transformation to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. You will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Production teams, mentor staff, and prepare technical reports while upholding regulatory standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
• English proficiency.
• 8+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in nodular iron manufacturing.
• Experience with in-process molding.
• Knowledge of induction furnace refractory maintenance.
• Experience with sand molding processes.
• Knowledge of statistical tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Experience with data and trend analysis.
• Experience preparing documentation, procedures, method sheets and forms.
• Knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerances.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee metal production and analysis to ensure quality.
• Lead metallurgical testing and material evaluations.
• Identify process improvements to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, quality, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Production teams.
• Mentor staff on metallurgical processes and requirements.
• Maintain and report process records and technical analyses.
• Publish monthly quality and metallurgical reports.
• Support continuous improvement across casting and metal transformation processes.
