Job summary

MACA Advisors LLC is expanding its coverage in Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Argentina and is hiring a senior banker at Managing Director level to drive investment banking origination in one of these markets.

The role leads M&A, strategic and capital advisory mandates, with M&A as the lead product. It is based in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Argentina or New York with potential to cover multiple countries; it is a partner-level position for someone who already has a strong client book.

Qualifications

• Record of originating and leading M&A mandates in the region with named clients and outcomes.
• Native or deep knowledge of at least one LATAM market (Mexico/Colombia/Chile/Argentina) including regulation and transaction practice.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; willingness to relocate if based in New York.

Responsibilities

• Originate and lead M&A, strategic and capital advisory mandates in your market.
• Build a pipeline of proprietary mandates from local market knowledge, not competitive pitches.
• Bring in cross-border work with MACA’s senior bankers and clients across the region.
