Airbus is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to industrialize products from specifications into robust manufacturing systems in Mexico. You will support the production area with resources, ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost targets while driving continuous improvement using Lean tools.

Collaboration across Design, Production, and Supply Chain will be essential, with a focus on right-first-time manufacturing.

Formación

• 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar.
• English level: B2 or higher.
• Knowledge of GD&T and drawing interpretation.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge.
• Knowledge of assembly operations (drilling, riveting, deburring, etc.).
• Experience with core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA & SPC.
• CATIA experience. Able to read and interpret plans and specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Improve production by providing work-prep expertise to resolve shop-floor issues.
• Advance production processes through continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate across design to manufacturing (Co-Design/Co-Industrial)
• Contribute to all design-to-manufacturing phases to meet industrial needs.
• Define build processes and routings; manage time calculations and sequencing.
• Drive PFMEA/FMEA and implement standard work and time values.
