Collins Aerospace seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the development of advanced aerospace manufacturing processes. You will drive process optimization, mentor engineers, and collaborate across engineering, operations, and program offices to ensure efficient production and high quality.

The role emphasizes cost control, design guidance, and cross-functional teamwork, with potential travel and visa requirements.

Formación

• Requires a university degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing with 2+ years in leadership.
• Experience leading Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Program Office, BD).
• Advanced English proficiency; Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for technology transfer to production.
• Collaborate with pilot plant and production teams for cost-efficient mass production.
• Conduct tests and troubleshooting to control variables and resolve issues.
• Evaluate field support needs and advise on tools, equipment, and materials.
• Lead and mentor engineers to meet quality and production standards.
• Develop operating budgets to maximize cost-efficiency while ensuring compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve products, reduce costs, and optimize processes.
• Provide design guidance to enhance manufacturing capabilities and performance.
