Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or production support within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience supporting metal‑mechanical manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Experience with torque‑controlled tools and assembly systems, including troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Experience supporting pressure‑related manufacturing systems and processes, including pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to pinpoint production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and technical documentation.
• Experience developing and maintaining manufacturing process documentation, work instructions, and operating standards.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• Ability to manage multiple production priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical support to manufacturing operations to ensure safe, reliable production processes.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing issues, improve equipment and process performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to pinpoint root causes and implement sustainable solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity and cost.
• Evaluate product designs and manufacturing requirements to identify manufacturability issues and provide technical recommendations.
• Develop and update process documentation, work instructions, and operating standards; establish workstation standards and support labor studies.
• Apply Lean principles, structured root cause analysis, and data‑driven problem solving to support continuous improvement.
• Assess new manufacturing technologies and tooling for potential adoption and cost reduction opportunities.
